Q: Are you guys Granite Hills?
A: We are not Granite Hills Golf Course & Estates, We are Granite Recreational Park. Our names are similar as we are neighboring business’ with Granite Rock everywhere in Sight. The latest developers of Granite Hills and the Owners of Granite Rec. Park are the same person so that could be the reason for such confusion.
Q: Do you guys rent Motor Boats? or even Kayaks and Canoes?
A: No… Put Simply, we have this asked all the time. The reason may be because we are so close to the Lee River and Lake Winnipeg and that the Boat Launch is right across the street. It is a lost opportunity but it is a HUGE undertaking going into that type of business that we do not wish to undertake. Might we Suggest Wilderness Edge in Pinawa for your Canoeing needs, as they are only 20 minutes away!
Q: You guys sell Beer and Liquor, but do you sell Cannabis/Weed?
A: We sell some of Manitoba’s LGCA’s Products. We only sell Alcohol. Cannabis is not something we carry, at least in it’s near future.
Q: Are you guys doing anything for August Long Weekend?
A: No. That weekend’s events attracted way too many people that weren’t part of the Lee River area and things got out of hand, so we are not Hosting any events for any day of the Summer for the coming years. We are in fact updating this website to include a members only page for residents to participate in discussions of new and/or returning events here at GRP. It will be up to them whether we host them or not so stay tuned for more info on our Home page.
